Meet Josh Froggatt #72

British Sportbike Rider

Based in Worksop, UK, Josh Froggatt is a rising star in British racing. After building an impressive track record at club level, he is now stepping up into the elite arena of the British Superbike Championship (BSB).

My passion for motorbikes began early, growing up with my dad and a bike always in the garage. I started on dirt bikes, moved into motocross, and by 16 had my ACU licence. My first race season in 2020 was cut short by COVID, but the thrill had me hooked.

In 2021, I finished 3rd in the Thundersport Superteens on a Kawasaki Ninja 300. The following year, riding an SV650, I battled back from a broken hand to take 2nd in the championship. 2023 brought more success with 22 podiums across No Limits Racing (NLR) and EMRA finishing 2nd in NLR Mini Twins and 3rd in EMRA despite missing rounds. In 2024, I switched to a 2023 Aprilia RS660 Supertwin, dominating EMRA to take the title by 96 points and narrowly missing the NLR championship by just 4 points. Competed across three clubs in 2025, winning four championships & tallying 75 podium finishes. Achieved just two DNFs from 79 race starts, a remarkable level of consistency.

I’m thrilled to be stepping up to the British Superbike Sportbike class in 2026. With Whitney Motorsport Racing behind me, I’m ready to learn, grow, and make my mark. I’ll be competing on the new 2025 Aprilia RS660. Now feels like the perfect moment to make this move. With 10 rounds at Britain’s top circuits. it’s set to be an incredible season.
